With an impressive record of 282 wins and only 27 losses over the past four years, including an unparalleled perfect tournament season of 72 wins and 0 losses in 2005, the 2008 Pittsburgh Spirit 16U Gold team has established itself as the premiere youth fastpitch softball team in Western Pennsylvania. The Pittsburgh Spirit 16U Gold attends the most competitive and rigorous tournaments throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan each year. The 16U Gold team has placed 2nd and 17th at the NSA World Series as well as two 9th place finishes at the PONY Nationals the past four years.

The Pittsburgh Spirit 16U Gold has attracted and retained the most talented fastpitch softball players from across Western Pennsylvania and is proud to have the majority of the team together since 12U. Continued player development and improvement, not only as softball players but responsible young adults, is a hallmark of the Pittsburgh Spirit 16U Gold. Every player excels on the ball field as well as in the classroom and in their community.
